A bilingual singer, recording artist, writer, and stage actor, Melody Rodriguez has established herself as a performer that shines in many genres of the industry. Her NYC based band has performed for a Jennifer Lopez birthday bash, the NFL, Univision, WebMD, the American Cancer Society, and a private event for Martha Stewart.
Additionally, Rodriguez has sung in prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, while also sharing the stage with notable acts, like Earth-Wind-and-Fire and Grammy Award-Winner Gloria Gaynor.
The Queens native received her acting training from the CAP21 Conservatory, where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Theatre Arts and English. Rodriguez would go on to play some coveted roles on the stage. Reviewers for Broadway World have called her "the highlight and a must-watch", and “...extraordinary... proving to be one of the strongest performances in the production.” Ms. Rodriguez was also featured on Playbill for the "Women of Note"concert series at NYMF.
Her most recent theatre credit was Daniela in a regional production of Lin-Manuel Miranda's In the Heights, where she performed with original Broadway cast members. Up next, Rodriguez can be seen in the feature The Mystery of the Double Eagle as Camille (2021 release)...She is also currently touring nationally as a Tribute Artist for the Latin Icons show MI GENTE LIVE! as part of Larger Than Life Shows, where she is paying homage to acts like Shakira, Selena, and Jlo. Rodriguez strives to continue telling the stories of women who are unapologetically strong.
